The Mets are among teams interested in 31-year-old, free-agent OF-1B Corey Hart, according to reports.

3:00 pm: Free agent first baseman/outfielder Corey Hart expects to receive full medical clearance during visit with knee surgeon on Tuesday (McCalvy).

Dec. 1: There is mutual interest between the Brewers and Hart, but Milwaukee isn't interested in giving him a long-term deal (Cafardo).

Nov. 19: Hart has talked to the Red Sox, Rays, Rockies and Brewers, among other interested teams, he told MLB Network Radio (Bowden).

Nov. 14: Hart will likely be offered one- and two-year deals, worth around $8 million a year, according to market insiders (Cerrone).

Nov. 6: The Mets are among a dozen teams with some sort of interest in signing Hart (Puma), who missed all of 2013 with two knee surgeries.

Sept. 19: Hart has been quite vocal about his desire to stay with the Brewers, even saying he’d return at a discount (MLBTR).

Hart has hit .276 in his career with a .334 OBP, 154 home runs and 211 doubles in nine seasons, including All-Star selections in 2008 and 2010.
