5:29 p.m.: The Mets officially placed Travis d'Arnaud on the 7-day, concussion disabled list, retroactive to May 14.

To take d'Arnaud's place on the roster, Triple-A C Juan Centeno was activated.

Travis d’Arnaud will be put on the 7-day, concussion disabled list, GM Sandy Alderson told reporters at Citi Field.

The transaction will be retroactive to Wednesday.

The team will activate Triple-A C Juan Centeno, who will be available for Thursday's game.

Terry Collins said Wednesday that d’Arnaud had a light headache after Tuesday's game, during which he was hit with a bat on a foul tip. However, it's worth noting he did not have an immediate reaction.

D'Arnaud is still feeling effects from the event, Alderson said Thursday.

This season, d’Arnaud is hitting .196 with a .274 on base percentage. He has three doubles, three home runs and eight RBI over 114 plate appearances.
