Erik Goeddel is allowing a 23.4% line drive rate this year in AA, well up from his norm around 16% and the 13.2% mark he had last year for St. Lucie. He's also walking a career worst 10%. The B-Mets have won three in a row despite hitting 0-for-29 with RISP.
Casey Sadler has succeeded this year despite a 13% K rate and a 6.6% BB rate (33K/16BB) while allowing just an 11.6% line drive rate. It's an unusual profile, and his FIP of 4.22 and SIERA of 4.32 suspect he can't sustain success this way.
Altoona limps into this series having lost their last three by a combined score of 45-15. They are hitting an EL worst .231/.302/.361
Noah Syndergaard has struck out 52 (25.4%) and walked 15 (7.3%) His BABIP is at .353 which is higher than one might expect for a pitcher giving up a ridiculously low 8% line drive rate. Alex Panteliodis appears to be the casualty of too many pitchers as he hasn't pitched since the 21st, a day before Noah.
Anthony DeSclafani opened his season with 5 shutout innings against St. Lucie, allowing 1 hit while striking out 3. He's struck out 40 and walked 8 over 41 IP this year. After starting the year with 8 straight losses (4 to St. Lucie) Jupiter has bounced back and won nearly two thirds of their games since. They lead the FSL in ERA (3.08) having allowed the second fewest walks and fewest home runs in a three team tie.

Cody Kukuk has failed to make it out of the first inning in his last two starts, both against Charleston. He walked 8 while striking out none in those games, putting his season total at 29 BB and 25 K in 30.2 IP. SAL batters are hitting just .181 against him.
Matt Fox has allowed 13 hits including 3 homers in two of the PCL's more pitcher fair parts. He now gets to make his first start in the more hitter friendly Cashman Field.
Randall Delgado has posted a 4.98 ERA in his last 4 starts striking out 20 and walking 9 in 21.2IP. He's curtailed homers, allowing just 1 in those 4 games after allowing 7 in his first 6 starts. Reno allowed 5 runs in the top of the 9th to lose to Tacoma 11-10 yesterday. Their pitching is second worst in the PCL behind Salt Lake, and is further handicapped by the recent promotion of Tyler Skaggs to the D'Backs
