This part of the Express rotation is up for grabs, seven days ago Randy Wells failed to get out of the 3rd inning and retired, and the next day Collin Balester failed to get out of the 4th inning and went on the DL. Combined with needs for the Rangers and they have already used nine different starting pitchers. Despite the numerous starters Round Rock pitching has put up a 3.62 ERA which is 2nd in the PCL, and the leagues lowest whip at 1.27. They have tallied the third most K's with 261 and least walks with 87. Closer Cory Burns has yet to allow a run with 17 K and 2 BB over 11 appearances. Mike Olt is hitting .139/.235/.236 striking out 40% of the time, making Mets fans everyone forget they ranted for weeks this winter that we should trade Dickey for him... helping the Express to second worst in the PCL with a .256 team average. They do take walks, second in the PCL with 138. More than you would ever need to know about the Round Rock Express.
