Dominic Smith and Citizens Bank Park seem to be a pretty good match.
For the third game in a row, Smith launched a home run to the opposite field against the Phillies. His latest blast gave the Mets a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning.
In the fifth inning, Jeff McNeil got in on the home run action with an opposite field shot of his own. McNeil's sixth home run of the season extended the Mets' lead to 2-0.
The Mets added to their lead in the sixth inning, thanks to a Tomas Nido RBI single. Dominic Smith walked to start the frame, then stole his first-career base and ended up at third on a wild throw. He came around to score on Nido's single, giving the Mets a 3-0 lead.
Later, McNeil added to his All-Star worthy season with an RBI double, extending the Mets' lead to 4-0 behind a stellar Jason Vargas. ...
