Trailing the Nationals 2-0 on Saturday night, the Mets turned to the long ball.
JD Davis and Wilson Ramos slugged back-to-back home runs, tying the game at two. In the process, the Mets set a new franchise record with their eighth straight multi-home run game.
For Davis, it was his second home run in as many nights.
Later, with the Mets trailing by a run in the bottom of the eighth, Luis Guillorme picked an incredible time for his first career home run.
After Guillorme tied the game, the Mets played some small ball to load the bases for Davis with one away. Davis lifted a sac fly to right for the eventual winning run.
