Last month, prospect guru Jonathan Mayo listed 20-year-old Mets RHP prospect Noah Syndergaard among his Top 10 Right-Handed Pitching Prospects for 2013.

Syndergaard was acquired with Travis d'Arnaud in the deal that sent R.A. Dickey to the Blue Jays.

In regards to Syndergaard, who checks in at No. 10 on this year’s list, Mayo says: ”He could end up being the best player in the deal, though it may take more time for him to develop.” Mayo told MetsBlog's Matthew Cerrone in December that Syndergaard is ahead of where Zack Wheeler at a similar age.

Mets minor league pitching coordinator Ron Romanick likened Syndergaard to Aaron Harang, in terms of his delivery and size on the mound.

In this video, Matthew Cerrone profiles Syndergaard in the latest installment of the Mets Minor League Report, which features footage of Syndergaard in action, as well as insight and analysis from fellow prospect Michael Fulmer and pitching coach Frank Viola:
