Both of tonight's games were postponed because of rain. This is the B-Mets last trip to Portland this year so the games will be made up in Binghamton when Portland next visits for a series July 11-14th. Binghamton heads home to host Trenton for 5 games in 4 days, one of which was rained out in Trenton. Not only do the B-Mets have a sizable lead on Portland and Trenton, but now they get to play three 'road' games against these teams in their home park.

The 51's are 1 game behind the first place tie between Tucson and Sacramento, but are tied in the loss column with due to a couple of postponed games they have yet to make up. The 51s signed RHP Giancarlo Alvarado who had been starting games in the Mexican League. He will start on Friday, taking D.J. Mitchell's rotation spot.
