Bumgarner allowed four runs in five innings of work against the Mets on Aug. 18 in San Francisco. His 2.74 ERA was fourth in the majors, just one spot below Syndergaard's. Since 2014, he has 51 wins, which are most in the NL. Has a career 2.14 ERA in 14 playoff appearances.
