RHP Zack Wheeler (5-5, 4.94 ERA) who has not pitched well of late. In his last two starts, Wheeler has allowed 14 runs -- nine earned -- on 20 hits and has struck out 10 over 10.2 innings pitched. He has allowed more hits in his last two starts than he had in his previous four.
Who is starting for the Cubs?
LHP Jose Quintana (4-6, 3.87 ERA) who pitched well last time out, allowing just two runs on six hits and three walks over five innings against the Dodgers. Quintana has not allowed more than three earned runs in a start since May 26 but has struggled to give Chicago length, pitching into the sixth inning just twice in his last five starts.
