?With their pitching staff, they?re the team to beat,?? Frazier told reporters?(Sept. 28, 2015). ?Noah Syndergaard is the real deal.?He?s one of the nastiest guys I?ve faced in my four and half years in the big leagues.?He's?No. 1 or No. 2, for sure. They?ve got Steven Matz, I don?t know how you can?t start that kid. The other two guns with deGrom and Harvey, geez, it?s lethal. The way they?re hitting, they?re rolling on all cylinders right now. Hopefully they can keep it up. It?s fun to watch and at the same time, I?m glad we don?t have to play them 19 games.??

Josh Chapdelaine: Bobby?Parnell?s return (from Tommy John surgery) initially went better than most could have predicted after he was activated in June. Despite decreased velocity, Parnell did not allow an earned run in his first eight appearances. However, the following 11 games represent the worst stretch of his career.

Since he returned (from the DL)?Sept. 13, Parnell?has allowed only one earned run in 4 2/3 innings pitched. Most encouraging for the pitcher is his fastball, which has reached 95 mph in recent outings.
