The Skinny:?The Nets opened up the game on fire, hitting five of its first seven shots and quickly opening up an 11-2 lead after the game's first three minutes. The Nets suddenly went cold, though. After an early timeout, the Nets combined to shoot just 1-for-15 over the game's next seven minutes. Monta Ellis and Brandon Jennings combined for 15 points in the opening frame and helped the Bucks to a 25-18 lead after the first quarter.

The Bucks attacked the basket and the Nets clearly missed Brook Lopez's presence at the rim. ?The Bucks won the second quarter 19-13 and, behind 18 points from Jennings and 10 points from Ellis, the Bucks led 48-31 at the half. The Nets played a miserable half, scoring just 31 points on 13-for-47 from the field. Deron Williams finished the half shooting 3-for-13 while Joe Johnson shot 0-for-4.

The Bucks opened up the third quarter on a 9-2 run and immediately opened up a 24 point lead. Avery Johnson inserted MarShon Brooks, who helped to slightly turn the game around for the Nets.?For the Bucks, Ellis turned in a very powerful quarter, scoring eight points and two assists and helped the Bucks open its lead up to 29 points, 68-39. The Nets closed the lead to 15 points, but never got any closer and trailed by 20, 75-55 heading into the fourth quarter.

On Friday night, the Brooklyn Nets were defeated by the Golden State Warriors by a final score of 109-102.

The Skinny: The Nets opened up the game rather aggressively and both Deron Williams and Joe Johnson were feeling it early. Johnson opened up the game scoring 15 first quarter points and together, he and Williams combined to score 22 of the team's 31 points in the game's opening frame. The Warriors kept pace, led by eight points from Klay Thompson.

Ahead 31-24 to open the second quarter, coach Avery Johnson went with his reserves?C.J. Watson, Keith Bogans, Jerry Stackhouse, Mirza Teletovic and Reggie Evans. Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry played relatively well during the opening minutes of the second and helped to spark their team on a 7-0 to to close the gap to 46-45 with 4:35 to go in the half.

Deron Williams has had a tough 16 games this year and is playing through a plethora of injuries right now but he won't use them as am excuse for his poor play.

Poor play for Williams is still above average and All-star quality for most and anyone who watches him play knows he runs the Brooklyn Nets and even with his poor shooting he is leading in many ways that help the team win.

One thing you love about superstars is that they are never satisfied with how they are playing and Williams is one of those superstars.

The Brooklyn Nets went into Miami last night with two things in mind, first exact some revenge from a previous blowout to the Heat, and secondly to show the Heat that they will be a team to be dealt with come playoff time.

The Nets played good basketball in the first half, but in the the second half, the ball movement was not as good and the Heat eventually put the upstart Nets away as the Nets could not hit a single shot in the fourth quarter.

Even John Schuhmann noticed during the first half...

Talk about a dubious distinction? Reggie Evans was the first player to be warned for flopping and now the Nets are the first team to have two unique individuals cited by the NBA for antics detrimental to the league.

You make the call on Wallace... Was this a flop?

Little by little, life returns to normal in New York City and its surrounding communities. But as late as Saturday, I ran into a woman who lives in Long Beach, a small community in Long Island that was absolutely decimated by Hurricane Sandy. Her home stands and she's in high spirits, but her home is still without heat.

One of the stories that won't die is Shaquille O'Neal's seemingly claiming that Brook Lopez is better than Dwight Howard. Yes, we fully understand that we are helping to douse the flames here a bit... But wouldn't you want to know if an opposing player weighed in?

A lot of people have weighed in on this debate. But Tyson Chandler, the starting center of the New York Knicks, has an opinion worth noting.

BROOKLYN ? It's been a long time coming, but we've finally reached the eleventh hour. Since Bruce Ratner spearheaded the group that purchased the New Jersey Nets back in 2005, the long-term plan has been Brooklyn.

Now, finally, Brooklyn?and the Barclays Center?is ready. Along the way, funds dried up, the move was delayed, and the team was sold to Mikhail Prokhorov. But now, the wait is finally over. Brooklyn is ready.

And today, SNY.tv is, too.
