The Nets have desperately missed Lopez and are just 2-5 in the games that he has missed.
Andray Blatche has done a good job of filling in, averaging about 18 points and nine rebounds as a starter. Still, the Nets need Blatche's production off of their bench.
The Nets will travel to Chicago tomorrow night to play the Bulls, and at this point, we're not sure if Lopez will be made available. It'd be out of the ordinary for a player returning from a two week hiatus to immediately play in a back-to-back, but I suppose we'll see how he looks and responds tonight.
Lopez didn't make the trip to Toronto with the Nets, but stayed home and worked out with the intention of being ready for tonight. It sounds as though he is.
