Chris Bosh was the games leading scorer with 26 points. Dwayne Wade scored 25 points of his own but saved his best for last. He scored 10 of those in the final minutes to fend the Nets off and hold onto the win.
For Brooklyn, Joe Johnson led the team in scoring with 19 points. Brook Lopez scored 16 and Mirza Teletovic added 14 himself. The Nets failed to go over .500 for the first time since November 12.
