Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie participated in the NBA Taco Bell Skills Challenge at All Star weekend in Chicago Saturday night, but didn't get to stay out there for as long as he'd have hoped.
Dinwiddie faced Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo were the opening duo to face off in the first round of the contest, and got both got off to quick starts swerving through the cones.
However, Dinwiddie missed his first pass attempt into the upright hoop, while Adebayo connected on his to take a lead he would never lose, hitting his three-point attempt on the first shot to knock Dinwiddie out of the challenge.
To Dinwiddie's credit, Adebayo would go on to win the entire competition, beating Pascal Siakam in round two and Domantas Sabonis in the finals to take the Skills Challenge trophy to South Beach.
