Mitchell Robinson and Jarrett Allen are both terrific players who should be impact players for the Knicks and Nets in the coming years. But Robinson finds the notion that Allen has emerged as the best young center in New York to be laughable.

After the Nets won on Sunday night -- the second time they've beaten the Knicks this season in as many tries -- @NetsDaily tweeted that Allen had "proven" himself to be better than Robinson, writing:

"In 3-game winning streak, @_bigjayy_ has averaged 17 and 12. He's also the NBA leader in shooting percentage so far this season."

This is a public service announcement for Knick fans who think @23savage____ is the best young center in New York. He is not as was proven Sunday."

Robinson didn't even need words for his response:

Using a three-game sample size to say any player is better than any other player is laughable, as Robinson seems to believe.

So far this season, Robinson is averaging 9.5 points. 6.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks while averaging 18.8 minutes per game in 13 games (six starts).

Meanwhile, Allen is averaging 10.9 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks while averaging 25.9 minutes in 16 games (13 starts).
