The Nets couldn't spoil Brook Lopez' return to Brooklyn as he poured in 19 points to help defeat his former team, 102-99.
Lopez went 8-of-13 from the field as well as 3-of-5 from the charity stripe. He also notched three boards and three blocks.
Julius Randle tied Lopez with a game-high 19 points while Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart had 16 and 15 points respectively.
Spencer Dinwiddie led the Nets with a game-high 23 points on a 9-for-19 performance with seven rebounds and nine assists as well.

Rookie Jarrett Allen notched a career-high 20 points with an impressive 8-for-11 performance to go along with five rebounds, two steals, and one big block on Lopez.
D'Angelo Russell and Joe Harris contributed 15 and 11 points respectively as well. James Webb III also tallied his first NBA points with a three from the corner in the second quarter.
What's Next: The Nets will look to rebound in a matinee against the Bucks on Sunday at 12 p.m.
