Now Commenting On:

Mason Plumlee scored 20 points (10-of-13 shooting) in 20 minutes for Team Webber in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday night.

Dunks accounted for half of Plumlee's points, and the Nets first round pick also had seven rebounds, four steals, and a block. Team Hill was victorious, however, by a 142-136 count.

It really was a Plumlee lovefest on Valentine's Day. Both Grant Hill and Chris Webber sung Mason's praises, as Plumlee did his thing: threw down monster slams and impressed with athleticism most seven footers just simply shouldn't possess.

His denial came on a slam attempt by Andre Drummond, and it was a doozy. It's probably something most Nets fans would have liked to see in any of the three games against the Pistons this year, but it did get me dreaming of match ups between those two for years to come.

To check out highlights from the game, watch the video below. Plumlee appears in highlights seven, six and five.
