Allen Crabbe missed Wednesday's game against the Raptors with a mild ankle sprain he suffered in the Nets' game against the Pistons on on Monday.
Coach Kenny Atkinson said it is a possiblity that Crabbe could play on Friday, but that it is not likely.
"It's a mild sprain: That's the diagnosis," said Nets coach Kenny Atkinson, per the New York Post. "I don't anticipate him playing Friday [versus the Knicks]," Kennty Atkinson said.
Crabbe said his injury came on the same ankle that he sprained last season, but said "it's nothing bad."
"My hope is its as short term as possible," Atskinson said "That's the desire; because, yes, any injury it sets you back. That's just how it is."
Crabbe averaged 13.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 75 games last season during what was his first season with the Nets.
