According to ESPN, the Kings had offered Porter a four-year, $106.5 million contract. The Wizards were previously expected to match any offer he receives.
Porter had a breakout season in 2016-17, as he averaged a career-high 13.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 52 percent from the field and 43 percent from 3-point land. The Wizards reached the Eastern Conference Semifinals before losing to the Celtics in seven games.
