Latest Update (Dec. 12)
1:10PM: Nets PG Jeremy Lin will return to the lineup Monday for Brooklyn's game against the Houston Rockets, but will probably not be in the starting lineup, the point guard told reporters early Monday afternoon.
Previous Reports (Dec. 10)
6:24PM: Nets guard Jeremy Lin won't play Saturday against the Spurs, but he is close to returning to game action, head coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters.
Lin injured his hamstring on Nov. 2 and has missed the team's last 16 games.
"He's not going to play [Saturday at San Antonio]. That's his first practice in a while," Atkinson said, according to Ryan Lazo of the New York Post. "He looked good. He was out there making good passes and moving well."
Lin averaged 15 points and 6.2 assists in 26.8 minutes per contest in the five games he suited up for this season.
