The Nets have turned their interest to acquiring restricted free agent JaMychal Green after losing out on Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Otto Pope Jr., according to the New York Post.
Once the Porter Jr. offer sheet comes off the books, which is expected to happen midnight Thursday, the Nets will have $16.5 million in cap space to spend.
"We're still working through things. The roster is still morphing," coach Kenny Atkinson said Wednesday, according to the Post. "But I also have to understand it might not be the perfect balance. I really can't comment on it until we have that final group. Does that mean moving a three to a four?"
The 6-foot-9 Green averaged 8.9 points and 7.1 rebounds over 77 games with the Grizzlies last season.
