The Nets have requested waivers on F Drew Gordon, G Tahjere McCall, and G Shannon Scott, reports Marc J. Spears of ESPN.
The Nets signed Gordon on Friday after he originally signed with the team in August. He turned down money to play overseas to join the Nets, where he will join the team's G-League squad. He is expected to get opportunities with Brooklyn, accoding to Spears.
He spent last season playing in Russia with BC Zenit Saint Petersburg and averaged 11.1 points and 6.7 rebounds in 21 games, including 13 starts. While much of his experiene is overseas, Gordon's lone NBA experience came in 2014-15 when he spent time with the 76ers, scoring 1.9 points and 2.0 rebounds in 7.9 per game.
In addition to playing in Russia, he has spent time playing in Serbia, Italy, France, and Lithuania.
McCall and Scott played for Brooklyn's G-League affiliate in Long Island last season.
