The Nets announced they have signed G Milton Doyle to a two-way contract.
Doyle has been playing for the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn's G League affiliate, where he is averaging a team-high 21.3 points per game. The 6-foot-4 guard has notched double digits in scoring in 16 of his 17 games. He is the first call-up from Long Island this season.
The 24-year-old was a member of the Nets' Summer League roster before being wavied on Oct. 11. Doyle went undrafted out of Loyola University Chicago this past June. In four years, he averaged 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while becoming the first player in team history to earn All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team honors.
Due to NBA rules, Doyle can only spend 45 days with the Nets this season on his two-way deal.
