The Brooklyn Nets will sign F Quincy Acy to a second 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.
Acy averaged 6.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in four games during his first 10-day contract with the Nets.
"Loved his energy, loved his pop, his aggressiveness, how competitive he is," head coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters. "I've been pleasantly surprised."
Acy will be paid another $61,000 for the next 10 days. Once the second 10-day contract expires on Jan. 29, Brooklyn will have to decide whether they want to sign the forward for the remainder of the season or return him to the Texas Legends, who hold his D-League rights.
