Nets G D'Angelo Russell is expected to miss the next several games due to a knee injury he suffered in Saturday night's game against the Jazz, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, citing sources.
The team announced Russell went down with a left knee contusion. The 21-year-old scoed 26 points before leaving with a knee injury with less than three minutes remaining in the game.
He was immediately evaluated by the Jazz's team doctors and was slated to be re-evaluated by Nets' doctors upon the team's return to New York, according to the New York Post.
Russell is averaging 20.9 points per game for the Nets in 12 games this season.
