The Nets held the lead from start to finish in Friday's 116-97 win over the Sacramento Kings at Barclays Center.
After the game, head coach Kenny Atkinson was proud of the active defense played by his team, and also singled out the performance of Spencer Dinwiddie, who scored 23 points and added seven assists, starting in place of the injured Kyrie Irving.
"Defense as outstanding again," said Atkinson. "I thought our activity, we talked about it pregame, just having a more active group. I thought they were active. A lot of deflections. Forced some turnovers, so that's good news.
"Another good team win. Obviously, Spencer is doing it at a high level consistently since Kyrie's been out, but really good team win."
