The Nets stunned the Sixers in Game 1 of the first round Saturday in an impressive showing.
"From our perspective, I give us a B, B+," Brooklyn head coach Kenny Atkinson said. "Game 2, we need an A. We all know it. It doesn't take a sports psychologist to know that we have to ramp it up."
Nets guard Joe Harris said the success in Game 1 could be attributed to the adjustments the team made, which were more than they normally did during the regular season.
Harris anticipates the Sixers will try and get more open shots for their shooters, such as J.J. Reddick and Tobias Harris.
Atkinson also compared the Nets to an underdog college team, referring back to his playing days at the University of Richmond.
"We can make some changes, too," he said. "I think we have to be ahead of the game a little bit and figure what we can do a little better."
