When the Giants have the ball: ?They will attempt to run again, but the offensive line matches up poorly against the San Francisco front, which is one of the most physical in football. ?Niners' DT Justin Smith is one of the toughest players in the league and the interior of the Giants line will have their hands full.

NFL games were the two most-watched shows on TV last week (Nov. 4-10) with the CBS national telecast (mostly Denver Broncos-San Diego Chargers) topping all sports and entertainment competition with 24.1 million viewers followed by NBC?s Sunday Night Football (Dallas Cowboys-New Orleans Saints) drawing 21.1 million viewers. This marks the 10th time in 10 weeks that an NFL game has topped the viewership charts.
Locally, NFL games topped ratings in 27 NFL markets last week. For the season, NFL games rank as the 20 most-watched TV shows since Labor Day, up from 16 at this point last season.

The Green Bay Packers (5-4) will be without QB Aaron Rodgers when they take on the surging Giants (3-6) this afternoon in a contest featuring two of the NFL's staple franchises.

Trends don't really mean much in this rivalry, which over the years has produced some of the league's most memorable moments. This season, the Eagles have blown five games in the fourth quarter while the Giants have a propensity for pouring on in the final period.
The Giants' run defense this year has been the worst in recent memory, while the Eagles' rushing offense is first in the NFL, 13.5 yards better than runner-up Houston.
