Islanders' prospect Michael Dal Colle is headed to the Memorial Cup final after his Oshawa Generals defeated the Kelowna Rockets 2-1 on Tuesday.

It will be Dal Colle's first trip to the Memorial Cup final in his junior hockey career. The 18-year-old forward has made his mark through three games in the Canadian Hockey League tournament. Dal Colle is tied for the scoring lead with five points (two goals, three assists).

The success in the Memorial Cup is a continuation of a strong 2014-15 season for Dal Colle, who led the Generals in scoring during the regular season. He had 93 points (42 goals, 51 assists) in 56 games and the produced 31 points (eight goals, 23 assists) in the Ontario Hockey League playoffs.
