2001- After losing game one, the Devils blow a 5-1 third-period lead in game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Toronto Maple Leafs. But Randy McKay's goal at 5:30 of the first overtime lifts New Jersey to a 6-5 win over the Leafs, evening their best-of-seven series at 1.

According to Larry Brooks in the NY Post, the Rangers are not believed to have interest in Tampa Bay defenseman Pavel Kubina.

Brooks says that the Rangers are looking for a puck moving defenseman and that the team had no interest in Hal Gill who was traded yesterday.

Update: 12:11PM: On Sportsnet Radio, Nick Kypreos says that there is something strange going on with Kubina and Tampa Bay. He speculates that the list that Kubina may have given Tampa Bay may be teams that Yzerman can't make a deal with.
