NEW YORK - February 8, 2018 - SNY, the official television home of the New York Mets, New York Jets and all things New York sports, today announced its spring training schedule for the New York Mets, featuring comprehensive multiplatform coverage and programming from First Data Field in Port St. Lucie.
SNY will produce 15 Mets spring training games, beginning with the broadcast opener versus the Atlanta Braves on Friday, February 23. Emmy Award-winning broadcast team Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling and field reporter Steve Gelbs, return to call all the 2018 preseason action.
SNY surrounds preseason coverage with daily live studio programming beginning each day at 5 p.m. ET. Daily News Live, SNY's half-hour news and entertainment show, kicks off nightly coverage, followed by Loud Mouths, the network's daily sports debate show hosted by Jon Hein. At 6 p.m. ET, SNY's popular program Baseball Night in New York provides the latest Mets, Yankees and key division rival news as the teams gear up for the spring season. The day's Mets coverage concludes with the network's flagship nightly news program GEICO SportsNite, from 10:30 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. ET.
