Alex Georgiev stopped 35 shots in Edmonton on Saturday night to pick up his first career NHL win.
Georgiev said on MSG after the game that getting the win felt "unreal, like a dream."
Dave Maloney said that Georgiev was "solid" in net for the Rangers and Alain Vigneault remarked multiple times that he made some "big saves." (MSG)

He said that not being drafted has pushed him to prove that he can play in the NHL and cited Columbus goalie Sergei Bobrovsky, a fellow Russian that started in the KHL, as someone who wasn't drafted and is a "great goalie." (NY Post)
