Either way I do think the Rangers are looking at a possible depth forward to rotate in during the stretch run and for the playoffs. Who that player is, I don't know. It's hard to see them paying up for a real quality rental, Andrew Ladd or Jiri Hudler, and probably look for someone with a little bit of size, grit and a bit of skill to throw into the bottom six.
