Jesse Spector says that the hold up is the length of the contract and that Dubinsky wants a longer term deal.
Larry Brooks tweets that unless there is a "dramatic shift" the Rangers and Brandon Dubinsky will go to arbitration on Thursday because they aren't close enough on a long-term deal.
Brooks does say that talks are continuing with Ryan Callahan. Callahan's arbitration case is set for next Thursday.
The Rangers can elect a two-year arbitration award on Dubinsky.
This isn't going to be good for anyone.
