The Post says that Islanders owner Charles Wang is willing to sell the team, for the right price, and that price may be $300 million.
Wang is reportedly losing $40 million a year with the Islanders and in a 2009 interview he said the he was losing between $20 and $30 million annually.
The report indicates that Bobby Nystrom and Denis Potvin are also working with a group to keep the team on Long Island.
