Update: 2:29PM: Freidman tweets that Brown was available to at least two teams before word got out and the Kings pulled him back.

Brooks says that the fit doesn't appear to be there with the Rangers.
It has been reported all morning that the Kings are looking for a defenseman and a forward to provide scoring depth for Brown.
Nick Kypreos said on Hockey Central that one of the reasons that Brown could be moved is because there has been a shift in the LA dressing room.
Bob McKenzie tweeted that it is only a matter of time before Mike Richards becomes the captain in LA.
