Chris Kreider spoke on MSG after the Rangers win over Buffalo and said:
- On his goal and JT, "he has really good vision and whenever you are on the ice with him, just try to be aware and make yourself available because you know you are always an option."
- Did you think about what to do on that shot, "no. Probably would have missed it if there was. Good play by Millsy, got in a shooting position, freeze the goalie and he made a great pass."
- On the game, "outside of my own game I thought everyone did a good job of getting back to the house and protecting Hank. The trapezoids behind the net is kind of ear markers where you want to protect from that area out. When you do that it's hard for them to get Grade A opportunities. If we do that then a lot of times we can build offensive chances from there. It's a commitment to that side of the puck and coming back and stopping that area."
- On winning 14 of 19 after a loss, "it's a good thing, you don't want to stack losses. It speaks to our resiliency, you never want to go into slides so it's a positive."
JT Miller said that he knew he was going to pass the puck back to Kreider as soon as he recieved and that Kreider did a "good job to bury it." (MSG)
