The Rangers have previously said that they will not burn the first year of Chytil or Andersson's contract and play them more than 9 games.
Chytil can play 7 more games with the Rangers this season while Andersson can play 9.
Hartford is currently 9 points out of a playoff spot.
Adam Rotter: Chytil and Andersson will likely join the Rangers in the last couple of weeks of the season. They should both get at least two games at MSG but the Rangers are on the road a fair bit in this final month. It will be exciting when they join the team but the Rangers are going about this the right way. There is no reason to bring them up now and burn off a year of their entry-level deals when they can still somewhat battle for a playoff spot in Hartford.
