Rangers forwards Nathan Gerbe and Josh Jooris have options to play in Switzerland if they don't make the Rangers' final roster, according to Swiss newspaper Tribune de Geneve.
Gerbe's contract with the Swiss team was dissolved when he signed with the Rangers in July, writes Steve Zipay in Newsday, but they retain his rights and could bring him back if the Rangers are amenable.
Jooris, who is dealing with a groin injury, has a "license" to play in Switzerland.
Gerbe, 29, had three goals and four assists in 47 games last season for the Hurricanes.
Jooris, 26, had four goals and nine assists in 59 games last season for the Flames.
