Henrik Lundqvist said on Monday that he is feeling "pretty good" after some practice days and that he is trying to gather as much "energy and focus" as he can before tomorrow's game against Vegas. (NYR)
Lundqvist said that this week is a "good test" for the Rangers against some teams that are playing well and finding ways to win. (NYR)
He added that (NYR):
- "something we did really well last year was that we weren't great all the time but we were finding ways to win. A lot of that is confidence.
- Right now everyone has to focus on our own performance and figure out how we can help the group.
- If we have 20 guys doing that tomorrow we will have a chance at winning a game and gaining some confidence and then you build."
Lundqvist said that it's important for everyone to focus on their roles and not try to do too much, saying that his role is to "stop pucks and try to make a difference when the team needs me." (NYR)
