Henrik Lundqvist told Larry Brooks that his knee is "healing on schedule" and won't have any impact on how he prepares for this season. (NY Post)
Lundqvist injured his knee while leading Sweden to Gold at the World Championships and it was announced earlier this month that he would be out 4-6 weeks because of it.
He told Brooks that he always takes a few weeks off after the end of the season, starts up with light workouts and then begins skating in late July. (NY Post)
Lundqvist said that nothing changes this summer and that he will be ready for training camp and the season. (NY Post)
Reports out of Sweden indicate that Lundqvist is working out on his own and will be on the ice with his former team in Frolunda in August. (Bexell)
