Henrik Lundqvist and Oscar Lindberg helped Sweden defeat Denmark 4-2 at the World Championships today.
Lundqvist stopped 19 of 21 shots and his brother Joel, the captain of Team Sweden, scored the first goal today.
He said that he was not worried when he was hit, his jaw was stiff but he felt better after the game. (Expressen)
Lundqvist added that his timing was a little off but that he knew things wouldn't be perfect right away, calling it "a good test for me." (Expressen)
Lindberg played 15:49 (3:32 in the first, 5:18 in the second and 6:59 in the third) had an assist, 1 shot on goal and was a plus two.
Lindberg had the secondary assist on William Nylander's first goal and skated on a line with Nylander and Washington's Nicklas Backstrom. (Expressen)
