- On Oscar Lindberg's first game, "for a guy that hadn't had the opportunity to really work with our group, I thought he was fine. He took some faceoffs, did all right. His line had a couple of opportunities so I was pleased for a guy with no training camp/2-3 real practices, most of them on D, I thought he did well."
- Will he stay at center, "I think that will be a game to game decision and with what is healthy and the opposition. Tomorrow he will play in the middle again but it will be a game to game decision.
