Rick Nash has played in two straight games for the Rangers after missing last Thursday's loss to the Hurricanes with an upper body injury.
Nash has 7 shots in the past two games and played 15:17 against Detroit and 16:23 against Tampa Bay.
Against Tampa Bay last night, Nash attempted 7 shots (4 on goal, 2 that were blocked, 1 that missed the net) and had 3 of his shots on goal in the first and his fourth in the third period.
He played 5:56 in the first period, 6:09 in the second but only 4:18 in the third period.
Nash only saw 9 seconds of ice time in the final 3:03 of the third period.
In those final 3:03, the Rangers mostly had the line of Derek Stepan, Chris Kreider and Mats Zuccarello on the ice and then the line of JT MIller, Kevin Hayes and Michael Grabner.
With the goalie pulled the Rangers had the Stepan line on the ice with Mika Zibanejad as the extra attacker.
