In two games since being called up, Anthony DeAngelo has one assist and a minus two rating.
In those two games, DeAngelo has played:
- Colorado: 15:29, 2 shots on goal, 4 hits, 4 blocked shots (5:16 in the first, 5:39 in the second, 4:34 in the third)
- LA: 19:17, 1 shot that missed the net, 1 hit, 2 blocked shots (6:48 in the first, 6:18 in the second, 6:11 in the third with 3:23 on the PP and 40 seconds on the PK.)
Adam Rotter: I think DeAngelo has been okay so far and it would certainly encouraging to see him in the lineup when Marc Staal came back. I'm sure that at some point in the next few weeks DeAngelo will swap with Steven Kampfer for a game or two but overall this is a big opportunity for DeAngelo. He's probably just about ready to play a regular role in the NHL and with the injury to Kevin Shattenkirk and possible moves at the deadline, it's possible that DeAngelo, if his play warrants it, will get the chance to spend the rest of the year in the NHL.
