- On Jesper Fast, "he is closing in, I would say that he is very close to getting in the lineup. He's been cleared medically, physically, just a matter of how he feels and him talking with our doctors."
- How does Fast change the forward group, 'it gives us an experienced player that can help us 5 on 5 and help us to kill penalties. When he is healthy and tells us that he can play and the docs say that he is good to go then he will get in the lineup."
10/11 | 2:04PM: Alain Vigneault said on Tuesday about Fast, "this morning he did his on-ice testing and had the fourth best score of our whole group. I think he is closing in here, might need a couple of practices, not sure of the time length, I haven't talked to our doctor or Rammer, but I will at some point today or tomorrow. I would say a week to 10 days he should be ready to go." (NYR)
1:57PM: On Tuesday, Jesper Fast said that he is doing well and that it shouldn't be too long before he is able to return. (NYR)
Fast said that he is waiting on the medical team to tell him he is "ready to go" and that as soon as that happens he will be "happy to be out there." (NYR)
He said that he has no pain, is feeling good and working on his conditioning levels. (NYR)
