JT Miller followed up Tuesday's benching with a three-point performance that included scoring the game winning goal late in the third period.
Miller had a goal, 2 assists, a plus three rating, 1 hit, 1 blocked shot and was 4 and 4 on faceoffs.
Miller played 6:10 in the first, 5:12 in the second and 4:31 in the third with 49 seconds of his 15:53 coming on the PP.
When asked after the game about Miller, Alain Vigneault said that he played a "simple, smart game."
Miller said that "it's amazing" how the ice opens up when he is playing a "simple" game and that you get into trouble when you stop skating and try to make something out of nothing. (NYR)
He added, "just went back to trying to play my game and create a little room for us." (NY Post)
