Joe Micheletti said that Yandle "really stepped up" in place of Ryan McDonagh.
On Yandle, Henrik Lundqvist said "he sees the game really well, he is one of the best passers out there. It's hard and crisp and on the tape and he has a great shot as well. He is a great guy to be around. He brings a lot to the table on and off the ice so I am really happy with how he played this game. He had a lot of responsibilities when Ryan went down, it's important to have guys step up." (MSG)
