Adam Rotter: You take the bad with the good when you have a guy like Shattenkirk because there is a pretty good chance that he can erase a defensive mistake with his offensive. He is certainly looking a lot calmer and more confident with the puck than he did a couple of weeks ago. Defensively he made a mistake last night but then he scored a goal to tie and then obviously scored the winner. Things will probably always be a work in progress, to some degree, defensively but the impact he can make offensively and on the PP is too good to get bogged down with his defense.
